Terms of Service

Effective date: September 7, 2026

Introduction

These terms are a contract between you and RigFig, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“RigFig,” “we,” “us”), covering your use of rigfig.com and The Armory. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.

1. You must be 18

RigFig covers competitive shooting sports and the gear used in them. You must be at least 18 years old to use this site or create an account. Creating an account means confirming you meet that requirement, and doing so falsely is a violation of these terms.

2. What RigFig is — and isn’t

RigFig publishes gear guides, reviews, and build lists for competitive shooters, and provides The Armory, a tool for tracking the gear in your own setup.
RigFig does not sell anything. We are not a firearms dealer, we hold no FFL, and we do not sell, ship, transfer, broker, or facilitate the transfer of firearms, ammunition, or any regulated item. Every purchase you make happens on a third-party retailer’s site, under that retailer’s terms, with that retailer taking full responsibility for the transaction and for any legal compliance around it.

3. Affiliate disclosure

RigFig is supported by affiliate commissions. Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy something after clicking one — at no additional cost to you.

As an Amazon Associate, RigFig earns from qualifying purchases.

We also participate in affiliate programs run by other retailers, brands, and affiliate networks. Earning a commission does not change what we say about a product. We recommend gear based on what we think works, and a product’s presence or ranking on this site is not for sale.

4. No professional advice — and safety is on you

Everything on RigFig is general information for an adult audience. It is not legal advice, not firearms instruction, and not a substitute for professional training or a product’s own manual.

You are solely responsible for:
Safe handling. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and established safety rules for any equipment you own or use. Nothing on this site is a substitute for qualified, in-person instruction.
– Legal compliance. Firearms, magazines, optics, suppressors, ammunition, holsters, and accessories are regulated differently by federal, state, and local law, and those rules change. A product appearing on RigFig is not a statement that it is legal for you to buy, own, carry, or use where you live. Verify the law yourself before you buy.
Compatibility and fit. Confirm with the manufacturer that a part actually fits your platform before purchasing or installing it, and have work done by a qualified gunsmith when that’s what the job calls for.

5. Catalog and pricing accuracy

Our gear catalog is compiled by hand and synced periodically. Specifications, availability, endorsements, and especially prices go stale. Treat everything here as a starting point and confirm the current details on the retailer’s own page before buying. We make no warranty that any listing is accurate, complete, or current.

6. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at admin@rigfig.com if you think it’s been compromised.

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used to harm the site or other users.

7. Your content

Your Armory entries, notes, event logs, and anything else you enter belong to you. We claim no ownership.

By publishing a share link, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that snapshot of your rig to anyone with the link, for as long as the link is live. Ask us to remove the link, or delete your account, and that license ends.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that contains someone else’s personal information. We may remove content or disable a share link that violates this, at our discretion.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t:
– Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site, Armory app or its catalog by automated means without our written permission.
– Copy or republish our content, catalog, or reviews as your own.
– Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you aren’t authorized to reach, or probe the site for vulnerabilities without permission.
– Interfere with the site’s operation, or use it to distribute malware or spam.
– Use the site to arrange, solicit, or facilitate any illegal transaction, including any unlawful transfer of a firearm or regulated item.
– Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your age or affiliation.

9. Our content

The site’s text, reviews, guides, photography, layout, code, and the RigFig name and logo are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links freely, and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.

If you believe something on RigFig infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to admin@rigrig.com with enough detail to identify the work and the material at issue.

10. Third-party sites

Links to retailers, manufacturers, event organizers, and other sites are provided for convenience. We don’t control them, we don’t endorse everything on them, and we aren’t responsible for their content, products, pricing, shipping, returns, or privacy practices. Your dealings with any third party are strictly between you and them.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your saved data will never be lost. Keep your own record of anything you can’t afford to lose.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIGFIG AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR USE OF ANY PRODUCT YOU LEARNED ABOUT HERE — WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some states don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RigFig and its owners from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the site, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY/CITY], [STATE], and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Before filing anything, email us at admin@rigfig.com and give us 30 days to work it out. Most things can be resolved that way.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The effective date above tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms; if you don’t, stop using the site and delete your account.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver of it. These terms, along with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and RigFig regarding the site. You may not assign them; we may, in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
